Bare Skin offers private skincare services focused on results. Since its inception, Bare Skin has helped clients beautify their skin while providing a sense of wellness. Adopting a system with a 95% success rate, we specialize in positively improving the appearance of the skin, by smoothing texture, eliminating dullness, even out complexions by reducing the appearance of hyperpigmentation/dark spots, rebuild sensitive skin, restore hydration for dry skin types, and balance moisture levels for oily and combination skins. The health of every client’s skin comes first. Our goal is to identify the root of what’s causing the skin concern, then develop a more holistic treatment approach to accomplish skincare goals.
The treatments that we offer are world class and does not involve the use of harsh and expensive lasers, or fillers/injectables. During our facial experiences, we use cosmeceutical grade products that blend science and nature which lead to a better delivery system and efficacy. Home care is where the real skin transformation occurs, and as a result we provide performance based skin skincare to remedy skin concerns.
MEET THE FOUNDER
Hi there. I am so excited to bring Bare Skin Facial and Waxing Studio to Downtown Detroit. Since childhood, I have always been obsessed with skincare. My obsession grew into a natural passion for helping people improve their skin. As a graduate from Wayne State University (go warriors!), I began my career in automotive advertising/marketing. While accomplishing professional goals, I desired to do something more fulfilling that aligned with my passion. A friend suggested I become an esthetician, and that's when my professional skincare journey began. I went back to school to receive my esthetician certification and obtained my State Board License. While working at a Russian owned spa, I learned advanced facial treatments. I mastered Brazilian waxing while working at a hair removal company in West Bloomfield. Furthermore, I gained additional experience working at a high-end spa in Grosse Pointe. I've received one-on-one training from educators with some of the top skincare lines including Skinceuticals, Tata Harper, Glo Skincare, Lira Clinical, and Image Skincare. With all of my experience, I noticed there was still an unmet need for boutique facial and waxing services that focused more on results and less on the fluff. While working in the suburbs I also noticed how so many Detroiters would leave the city to receive a quality skincare service.Thus came the creation of Bare Skin. I am happy to say that I am born, raised, educated, employed, and now entrepreneur in the city of Detroit. I invite you to treat yourself to one of our beauty services. You deserve it! LOCATION
We are located near Downtown Detroit, in the newly renovated Riverfront. You can find Bare Skin inside of the historic Bagley Mansion, 2921 E. Jefferson, Ave, Detroit, MI 48207. Which is also the home of a Bridal Boutique. Guests can enjoy free parking on Jefferson Ave. or in the back of the building.
